For an exhilarating experience off the slopes, strap into the Alpine Coaster for a ride through the forest at over 25 miles per hour.  No wonder they call it Breathtaker.

 

Located next to Elk Camp Restaurant.  Coaster Riders will enjoy the coaster during the day and at night during special Ullr nights

The Aspen/Snowmass Nordic Trail System boasts over 90 kilometers/60 miles of FREE cross-country ski and snowshoe trails within and connecting to, the communities of Aspen, Snowmass, and Basalt. Trails are varied in terrain for beginners to experts. Beautiful vistas, great exercise and outdoor fun for the whole family!

Naturalist Guided Snowshoe and Ski Tours

Take a FREE tour and learn about our high-alpine environment – wildlife in winter, tracking, avalanches, winter habitats and other interesting signs of life that go unseen during your skiing experience!  Daily snowshoe tours are offered on top of Aspen Mountain and Snowmass Mountain. Daily Ski Tours are offered from the Wapiti Wildlife Center at the top of the Elk Camp lift on Snowmass.

Tubing at Snowmass

When you want a change from skiing the slopes, grab your friends and head to the Snowmass for tubing.  The Tubing hill also runs at night during Ullr Night Festivities and Holidays.   Must be at least 38″ tall to ride. One person per tube.  Reservations are strongly encouraged!  Please reserve your session in advance. Call 866-857-8769 or buy online to reserve.

NASTAR

NASTAR is the acronym for the National Standard Race and is the largest public recreational grassroots ski racing program in the world.

Developed in 1968, NASTAR provides a fun, competitive and easily accessible recreational ski racing program that, through the development of a handicap system, allows skiers of all ages and abilities to compare themselves against their friends, family members, and the U.S. Ski Team regardless of when and where they race. Snowcat Dinner Tours

You have your choices of two different Restaurants for your Snowcast Dinner Tour.  Dine at Lynn Britt’s Cabin for a four-course New American meal.  Or choose to head to Cloud Nine for elegant cuisine with breathtaking views.  Neither will disappoint even the most discerning clients.

Aspen Powder Tours

Love Powder? Take a POWDER TOUR. Luxury snowcats take you to prime untracked stashes on the backside of Aspen Mountain. Fresh tracks guaranteed and gourmet lunch is included.

Enjoy no lift lines, no crowds, just the exhilaration of skiing some of the Rocky Mountains’ finest powder snow in a spectacular setting. Two guides and a driver lead each 12 person snowcat group, selecting terrain according to daily snow conditions and the group’s experience. Snowboards are welcome on Aspen Mountain Powder Tours.
