Copper Mountain Colorado is the perfect winter vacation destination because there is so much to do. Fun can be found for all ages. Take in the snow-in-your-face thrill of snow tubing, stop by the CopperCade, or unwind at the Athletic Club with a swim in the pool. Perhaps you would like horse drawn sleigh ride through the Rocky Mountain National Forest, culminating in a scrumptious cowboy dinner in an authentic 18th century miner's tent. Other seasonal activities include snowshoeing, snowmobiling or fishing in this Colorado winter wonderland. SLOPETRACKER
SlopeTrackerT allows you to keep track of the number of runs, vertical feet descended, speed attained, calories burned, distance traveled and map the terrain you've covered in a day. In essence, the SlopeTrackerT allows you to keep "score." You can evaluate your performance and take home a customized SlopeTrackerT color map to prove your accomplishments. Brag to your friends about all the vertical you're rippin' and have the paperwork to prove it!



SNOW TUBING HILL
Snowplay enthusiasts of all ages will enjoy the thrill of Copper's snow tubing hill. Serviced by The Stinger surface lift, riders cruise down snow-filled lanes with varying degrees of pitch. Located at the base of the Super Bee lift in the East Village.



ICE SKATINGWhat winter vacation would be complete without ice skating? Ice skating is open 10am-7pm Sunday through Thursday, and from 10am-9pm on Friday and Saturday. Skate rentals are available for just $5.95/hour for kids 13 and under and $7.95/hr for ages 14 and older. Skating is free to those who own their own skates. Copper offers lessons, broomball tournaments and skating exhibitions and shows.



COPPER MOUNTAIN ATHLETIC CLUB
The Copper Mountain Athletic Club is a multi-service athletic club with tons of ways to make you feel your best. But, as far as the kids are concerned, it's just a really great swimming pool. The 25-yard, four-lane pool always has at least two lanes open for family and recreational swimming. Adjacent to the pool is a large co-ed spa (male and female only spas, steam rooms and saunas are located in each locker room). And the club features weight room, cardiovascular center, massage, facials and racquetball.

Club access is free to most guests who book their winter family vacations through Copper Mountain Lodging Services (some restrictions apply). Daily passes are available for $10 per day. Located on Copper Road.




SCENIC SLEIGH RIDES
Enjoy a scenic journey through a picturesque forest on a horse-drawn sleigh. The fun is outdone only by the Colorado scenery as you listen to the sleigh glide across a bed of diamonds. All ages welcome.

DINING IN THE WOODS - Dinner Sleigh RidesA horse-drawn sleigh transports you back in time to a cozy miner's tent where the scent of a delectable Old-West meal will make your mouth water. Complete with live entertainment, the friendly staff will keep you smiling and your toes tapping. All ages are welcome, so add this to the mix of your winter vacation.



SNOWSHOEINGEnjoy nature's beauty while snowshoeing through the White River National Forest in Colorado. You can also let the moon be your guide as you traipse through the trees on a moonlight snowshoe tour.



FREE MOUNTAIN TOURSDiscover Copper Mountain's hidden secrets, best trails and unique history with a FREE tour hosted by one of our own Copper Mountain Ambassadors. Mountain tours are available daily for intermediates and experts at the Information Station near Solitude Station at the top of the American Eagle lift. When you have questions or comments, look for our Ambassadors (they're the friendly people in the turquoise jackets!) on the mountain and throughout the village.



SNOWMOBILING
Explore Copper's snow filled valleys on a 150-horse open sleigh. An experienced backcountry guide will take you to secret stashes of powder and show you spectacular views, so bring your camera. WINTER FLYFISHINGEnjoy a scenic, peaceful day wading through bubbling brooks and streams. Experienced guides will show you the best spots for winter fishing. Call for reservations

COPPER CADEStop by the Copper Cade in Taylor's Crossing right in the center of the Village at Copper. The kids will enjoy an arcade with an assortment of game that'll keep them busy for hours.

PUBLIC RACE ARENA and NASTARThe Public Race Arena is a fun activity for everyone on the mountain. Whether you want to race your best friend head-to-head on the self-timer course or take the challenge of NASTAR and compare yourself to the U.S. Ski Team, the Public Race Arena has excitement to offer.


READY PAINT FIREA unique paint your own pottery shop offer a wide array of unique pottery creations for the young of age or young at heart to create their own memory while visiting Copper.


GIGGLEWORKSAn interactive toy and hard candies store offering a wide selection of kids clothing, toys and hard candies. A great place to stock up on all of those little kids necessities.
