ACTIVITIES ON THE MOUNTAIN
Adventure Park

Climbing Wall, Skating Rink, Bungee Trampolines and Tubing Hill.  The new AdventurePark has ice-skating, bungee trampolines, a climbing wall and a new lift served tubing hill.  The bungee trampolines provide a turbo-charged, gravity-defying ride up to 30 feet in the air, while the Climbing Pinnacle features a 28-foot, 6-route tower with auto-belay. The tubing hill is now located on warming house hill in the previous adult learning area and features a new tow lift

Free Guided Mountain Ski Tours

If you want to navigate the mountain like a pro, go on a free guided tour of Mt. Crested Butte. Learn your way around the greens and blues without getting lost. Tours meet at 9:45 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. by the orange flags at the Guest Services Hut and leave at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. respectively.On the two hour tour, you will learn trails and locations of lifts from an experienced local guide. This is a great way to start off your visit to CrestedButteMountain, and it is a good opportunity to meet some new friends with similar interests. So bring the family or any size group, and you will receive a local's introduction to Crested Butte Mountain Resort. Phone: 970-349-2211

Kids Night Out

Kids have nothing to do? Parents need a night out? Bring your child to Camp CB to join our fun-loving instructors for an exciting Kids' Night Out. Kids who take part in kids night out will have entrance to the adventure park and all the activities it has to offer, which includes, tubing, ice skating and bungee jumping. Ages 4-12 Welcome.   Cost is $85 per child.  Kids' Night Out takes place every week Tuesday through Saturday, 4:00pm – 8:00pm.

Sleigh Ride Dinner at Uley's Cabin

Enjoy a unique dining experience where getting there is half the fun.  Ride in an open sleigh pulled by a snow cat to a cabin tucked in the woods.  You will join Chef Leo Novak for an exceptional dinner.  The menu will feature Colorado cuisine with French influences and will change weekly.  Favorites include Colorado Elk, Braised Lamb Shank and Cedar Planked Salmon.  A full bar and a handpicked wine list are available to complement your dining experience.  Then bundle up afterwards to take the sleigh back to the base area.  Sleigh Ride dinners are available Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.  Advance reservations required.  85.00 per guest including tax.  800-810-7669

Atlas Snowshoe Tours

CrestedButteMountain Resort's snowshoe tour is a unique way to experience the majestic surroundings of Crested Butte. On the tour, you will explore areas of the mountain where few skiers go. You will also learn lessons on the history of the area and qualities of the local ecosystem. Tours last about two and a half hours, and you can expect to hike about two miles. On the tour, you will be supplied with a guide, snowshoes, poles, a lift ride, water, and a light snack. Ninety percent of the tour is downhill or flat, but you will enjoy a great workout along the way. Tours leave twice a day - at 9:30am and 1:30pm. New this year is a daily tour of SnodgrassMountain from 1:00pm until 4:00pm which includes transportation. For a completely exhilarating experience try snowshoeing by the light of the moon. Moonlight snowshoe tours are available on nights of the full moon on Dec. 21st, Jan. 19th, Feb. 18th and Mar. 30th.  All tours are available for $75 per person.  Click here to reserve online. 

NASTAR Racing

NASTAR races are offered Saturdays or by group reservation (weather permitting) on Smith Hill. Race your friends, plus win a medal if you qualify. Cost is $5 for 2 runs for adults (16 years and older) and $4 for kids. Take an additional run for $1 each additional run, or spend the whole day on the race course for $10 all day (adults) or $8 for the kids. Special rates are available for groups.Races Saturdays on the public challenge course located under the Red Lady Express Lift on Smith Hill.  Timed runs also available for just a dollar per run and Tuesday are FREE. Crested Butte Mountain Heritage Museum

Come visit the colorful past of the historic town of Crested Butte in the old Tony's Conoco. Experience the rich heritage of the immigrant miners and their families who survived harsh mountain winters living a simple life. See the dramatic transformation of this special town from mining to recreation. Enjoy exhibits about local history, skiing, railroads, local personalities, miners, and the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame. Cross Country Skiing

The Nordic Center is the hub of recreational activity in the town of Crested Butte. Experience the beauty of the Gunnison Valley with 45 kilometers of track groomed for classic and skate cross-country skiing or guided backcountry tours. Dog Sled Tours   

We offer unforgettable wilderness sled dog adventures for all ages and abilities. You can choose between a short tour that lasts approximately an hour or the Learn to Mush Tour that will give you the chance to run a team of rambunctious, very experienced huskies on a pristine wilderness trail.  You can also choose the all day tour which will give you a chance to spend the day with the dogs and view some unforgettable scenery. Ice Skating

Bundle up in your warmest wool and ride the free town shuttle to the Big Mine Ice Rink in the town of Crested Butte. At the outdoor rink at the NordicCenter, you can practice your spins, jumps, or just skate in circles. Skate rentals are available. Call for open skate times. Performing Arts- Crested Butte Center for the Arts

The Mission of the Center for the Arts is to enrich and expand community participation in the Arts. They do this by hosting a wide variety of concerts, theater and dance productions, speakers, conferences, and more throughout the year. Performing Arts- Crested Butte Mountain Theatre

In 1972, the non-profit organization, the Crested Butte Mountain Theatre (CBMT), was founded to infuse the community with fun, fantasy, and freedom. After performing in several locations through the past few decades, the theater's current home is the Mallardi Cabaret Theater.
