Scenic Gondola Rides

The Keystone Scenic Gondola is closed for the 2009 winter season.  Summer operations begin on June 26 - Sept. 2009.  Call 970-496-4386 for details.

Keystone is the only Colorado ski resort with two high-speed gondolas. The first takes you to the top of Dercum Mountain and the second to North Peak and the Outpost- home to the Alpenglow Stube and Der Fondue Chessel.  If you are not skiing and riding but still want to soak up the scenery and have a mountain adventure, foot passenger tickets are available.  Taking a scenic Gondola ride to the top of Dercum is a great family outing or place for some pictures.  On night-ski nights, enjoy a cup of hot cocoa at the Summit House.

On night-ski nights the Gondola runs from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the remaining days.  Early season (through mid-December the Gondola will start running at 9 a.m.  Times subject to change - please call 800-354-4FUN (4386) for more information.

  • Guests can purchase a foot passenger ticket at the lift ticket office.

For guests with dinner reservations, the second gondola, "The Outpost," soars to the top of North Peak and the cuisine at the Alpenglow Stube and Der Fondue Chessel restaurants and is FREE.
