For first-time skiers or skiers who just need to brush up on their skills, Monarch ski area lessons can help make the most out of any Colorado ski package. Our instructional programs are diverse, productive, and fun for all ages and abilities. We can help the first-time skiers as well as the advanced rider, individual, group, or family. We have products for ages seven and up, ages two to six, as well as specialty programs like Mountaineers and Shredders.
Ages 7 +
For skiers and riders ages 7 and up, we offer private, semi-private, family private, group clinics, and specialty programs. As an independently owned resort, we have the luxury of creating and customizing every aspect of our Ski and Ride School for group and family ski packages. Take advantage of our excellent, professional instructors. These clinics are available for anyone 7 years and older. Advance reservations are highly recommended for all Ski School Programs!
Private Clinics: Monarch Mountain has expanded our Private Clinic schedule. The lessons are designed for one-on-one instruction for those skiers and riders ready to get a boost in their learning curve. Our staff will listen to your goals and discuss potential strategies. We strive to develop a comfortable learning environment to assist you in achieving your objectives. Ski Daddy can include these lessons as part of our Monarch group ski package tours.
Group Clinics: Monarch Mountain has daily options for Group Clinics. Our terrain turns into a perfect classroom for our guests who may be new to the sport, or others looking to brush up on technique. Monarch's passion for skiing and riding will energize your experience and help you build the confidence to conquer the mountain! Book one of Ski Daddy's group ski vacations and make sure to include Group Clinics!
Ages 2-6
Developed for children two to six years old, Monarch's Child Care Program is designed to let parents have free time on the slopes knowing their children are having fun and are supervised with our specialized staff. Food, lessons, (ages two to six) rentals, games and naptime (if needed) all under one roof—and just outside is their own private winter playground. Our caring staff treats your little ones like their own, making them feel safe, secure and comfortable. You can relax and enjoy your day knowing we'll be providing a fun, educational experience for your child. Our Child Care Programs have hourly, half and full-day schedules and we are open from 8:30 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. daily.
Colorado ski packages can also include one-on-one private lessons with our experienced, professional ski instructors. These lessons for ages three to six use props and games that disguise learning with fun. Please dress your kiddos in waterproof clothing: gloves or mittens, goggles or sunglasses, a warm hat, insulated undies, shoes with good tread, snowpants and a warm jacket. Be sure to label all of your children's stuff, slather on the sunscreen, and remind us of any special needs your child may have.
